Garrity Stands With Trump Administration as They Gut Health Care for Over 310,000 Pennsylvanians

This week, Stacy Garrity quite literally stood squarely behind the face of the Trump Administration's efforts to gut access to health care and drive up medical costs for over 310,000 Pennsylvanians. At an event with Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Garrity wholeheartedly embraced the administration's destructive agenda that is forcing rural hospitals to close and Pennsylvanians to go without basic care.

This isn't the first time Garrity has embraced RFK Jr. and D.C. Republicans' crusade to reduce health care access as much as possible. Garrity has repeatedly applauded the GOP budget law that strips away health care and food assistance, while killing jobs and raising everyday costs and energy prices for families across the Commonwealth - even going so far as to call it a "huge win." She has also repeatedly backed efforts to restrict reproductive freedom and celebrated the Supreme Court decision overturning Pennsylvanians' freedom to choose.

"Stacy Garrity proudly standing alongside Health Secretary Kennedy is a gut punch to the hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians who stand to lose access to health care thanks to the Trump administration's dangerous agenda," said DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy. "Garrity has made it clear that she stands firmly behind Donald Trump's attacks on Pennsylvanians' pocketbooks and personal freedoms, no matter the cost to hardworking families across the state - which is exactly why voters across Pennsylvania will reject her this November."
