Lowenstein Sandler LLP represented leading technology company for AI and Bitcoin mining infrastructure Bitdeer in a $4.7 billion, 16-year colocation lease and services agreement for its AI data center located in Tydal, Norway, through its subsidiary, Tydal Data Center. The leased site will supply 121 megawatts of critical IT capacity and support a leading AI lab. The lease includes a one-time, eight-year extension that would reach a total contract value of $8 billion.
The data center is expected to be among Norway's largest and most efficient AI data centers upon completion and will run on 100 percent renewable energy, setting a new standard for data center sustainability and performance.
The Lowenstein team included Steven E. Siesser, Daniel A. Suckerman, and Bianca N. D'Agostaro.
