Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour to visit Finland

Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour will visit Finland on 25-26 May at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio.

In addition to his meeting with Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio, the Minister of Industry and Trade will meet Minister of Economic Affairs Sakari Puisto and Minister of Employment Matias Marttinen during his visit. On the agenda are also meetings with Finnish businesses and a visit to the Vuosaari Harbour.

Minister Mezzour will be accompanied by a business delegation and representatives of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises. During his visit, Minister Mezzour will learn about Finnish solutions relating to the maritime and mining industry, renewable energies and industrial wastewater treatment.

The Confederation of Finnish Industries, the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises and the Technology Industries of Finland will organise a Finnish-Moroccan business forum during the visit.

"Morocco and Finland have an active relationship. We welcome closer business cooperation between the countries. This will open up new opportunities in trade," Minister Tavio says.
