Closure of Concord Road between Honeysuckle Drive and Church Road
Seaford - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will begin work on Bridge 3-243 on Concord Road over Tubbs Branch on Tuesday July 7, 2026 as part of a Pavement and Rehabilitation & Bridge Rehabilitation contract. The Bridge Rehabilitation will be completed under a full detour from July 7, 2026 until September 21, 2026.
Detour:
Drivers wanting to head West on SR 20 - Concord Rd will go left on US 9 - County Seat Highway, then right on US 13 - Sussex Highway to SR 20, Concord Rd.
Drivers wanting to head East on SR 20 - Concord Rd will go right on US 13 - Sussex Highway, then left on US 9 - County Seat Highway returning to SR 20 - Concord Rd.
Motorists are reminded to use caution in the work zone and plan for minor travel delays.
