Willkie advised BMO Capital Markets as financial advisor to Dawn Foods, Inc., a global bakery manufacturer and ingredients supplier, in its pending acquisition by Puratos Group, an international group that offers innovative food ingredients and services for the bakery, patisserie and chocolate sectors.

On March 10, the parties announced that they entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Puratos will acquire Dawn Foods. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2026, subject to the receipt of all required regulatory approvals.
