Men's Soccer Announces 2025 Slate

NJIT head coach , entering his 10th season at NJIT, announced the Highlanders 2025 slate which features 17 matches, including seven home matches at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.

"We have a very tough non-conference schedule that we believe will prepare us for the rigors of the America East Conference, which includes hosting the NCAA D1 National Champion." said Barboto.

NJIT will kick off the 2025 season with a pair of matches on the road at Loyola (Aug. 21) and FDU (Aug. 24) in a Garden State match-up.

The Highlanders will begin a stretch of four straight in Newark with the home opener set against UConn (Aug. 28), who the Highlanders will face for the third time in program history. NJIT will also welcome Rider (Sept. 6), La Salle (Sept. 9) and Saint Peter's (Sept. 13) in the month of September.

The next six out of seven matches will be on the road for the Highlanders: CCSU (Sept. 16), Cornell (Sept. 20), first America East Conference match at UAlbany (Sept. 27), Villanova (Oct. 7), Binghamton (Oct. 11) and Drexel (Oct. 14).

The lone home match in the road swing, NJIT will host Vermont (Oct. 4) the 2024 National Men's Soccer Champions on Homecoming Weekend in an America East Conference match-up.

NJIT will host UMass Lowell (Oct. 18) before playing a pair of road matches- at UNH (Oct. 25) and Bryant (Oct. 31).

The final regular season home match of the season will be against UMBC (Nov. 4).

The America East Tournament begins with the quarterfinals on Nov. 8, followed by the semifinals (Nov. 12) and championship game (Nov. 16). The top six teams during the regular season advance to the conference tournament with the top two seeds earning first-round byes.

Men's Soccer tickets will go on sale on Monday, July 21 and can be purchased in advance online at www.NJITtix.com or be purchased the day of the match at the main entrance of Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.
