Mercedes-Benz at the Rolling Pin Convention 2026: Vans with the star for star-level cuisine

For 130 years, Mercedes-Benz Vans has been offering its customers tailor-made solutions for their logistics and transport needs.

What began in 1896 with the first Benz delivery van now extends to customised vehicles for retail and eGrocery, gastronomy and the hotel industry. At the Rolling Pin Convention 2026 in Düsseldorf,
Mercedes-Benz Vans, as official mobility partner, is showing how modern vans can help bring products to their destination chilled and under suitable transport conditions.

Mercedes-Benz Vito, Sprinter and eSprinter models can be seen at the Mercedes-Benz exhibition stand and outdoor area, equipped with various refrigerated body and conversion solutions.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and flat roof-mounted refrigeration unit, a Mercedes-Benz Vito with refrigerated conversion by Kerstner GmbH is also suitable for many underground car parks.

A Sprinter with refrigerated conversion by Winter Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH uses an underfloor-mounted refrigeration unit without an additional roof structure. This can have a positive effect on aerodynamics and thereby support energy or fuel consumption.

In addition, a Sprinter with refrigerated box body by Kiesling Fahrzeugbau GmbH demonstrates its strengths as a specialised transporter for frozen and chilled products with a large load compartment.

All three solutions are available ex works as part of the Mercedes-Benz VanSolution upfitting programme.

A fully electric eSprinter with refrigerated conversion by Kerstner GmbH is a new addition. It enables electric operation of the refrigeration unit via the onboard electrical system. An electric power take-off (ePTO) supplies the refrigeration unit during charging, while driving and during delivery stops.

The broad range of vehicles bearing the star is complemented by the all-new electric VLE. The grand limousine is the first vehicle based on the newly developed, modular Van Architecture. The VLE is characterised by generous space, particularly high levels of comfort and a wide range of equipment options, including for individual shuttle use, for example in the luxury hotel industry.

The key innovation is the significant expansion to 33 Mercedes-Benz VanSolution partners in numerous European markets, along with an even broader range of sectors. In addition to the sectors already covered, emergency and municipal vehicles as well as passenger transport are now important new additions. All solutions from Mercedes-Benz VanSolution partners and Mercedes-Benz VanPartner are integrated into the Mercedes-Benz Vans online presence.
