NATA Thanks FAA Deputy Administrator Rocheleau for His Service

Following the announcement that FAA Deputy Administrator Chris Rocheleau will leave the agency, NATA (National Air Transportation Association) President and CEO Curt Castagna, issued the following statement:

"During his service as Acting Administrator, Chris Rocheleau was the right leader at a critical moment, helping guide the FAA through the aftermath of the tragedy near DCA. His steady presence, depth of experience, and sound judgment provided stability during an exceptionally demanding period. Chris carried that same commitment into his role as Deputy Administrator, supporting Administrator Bedford and the strengthening the agency's continued focus on safety and modernization. His deep understanding of aviation businesses and the challenges facing our community was evident in his engagement with NATA members at our events and forums. Chris' commitment to safety, public service, and the people who keep aviation moving is why NATA was proud to recognize him with our 2025 Distinguished Public Service Award. We are grateful for his service to the FAA and our nation's airspace system and look forward to our continued work together on behalf of the business and general aviation industry."
