Bronson Recognized Among Nation’s Most Wired Health Systems for 2026

Level 8 recognition reflects Bronson's commitment to using technology to make care safer, more efficient and more connected

Bronson has once again earned national recognition from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) as a 2026 Digital Health Most Wired health system.

Bronson achieved Level 8 recognition in Acute Care, Ambulatory Care and Long-Term Post-Acute Care (LTPAC), reflecting the organization's continued commitment to using technology to support safe, connected and patient-centered care. CHIME evaluates organizations on a scale of Levels 1 through 10, with Level 10 being the highest.

More than 44,000 facilities were represented in this year's Digital Health Most Wired Survey. Bronson ranked above peers in key areas including clinical quality and safety, analytics and data management, cybersecurity, population health, infrastructure, patient engagement and innovation. The survey evaluates how healthcare organizations adopt and use technology, as well as the outcomes and value those investments create.

"Digital transformation isn't just about technology - it's about creating better experiences for our patients and team members while striving for excellence in clinical care across Bronson," said Ash Goel, MD, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Bronson Healthcare. "This recognition is an honor for all of our team members, and it reflects our commitment to using secure, advanced technologies and systems that help us deliver smarter, safer and patient-centered care, without gaps in information every day."

At Bronson, this work is one way Health in Harmony comes to life. Technology helps connect caregivers with timely information, protect patient data, streamline everyday work and support the systems employees rely on to deliver care.

"I believe that my role in IT is to help the people of Bronson focus on what they do best by providing technology tools that fit seamlessly into their workflows," explained Jody Roon, IT Manager for Bronson Healthcare. "Orchestras count on each instrument to work perfectly so the musicians can focus on providing harmonious music. Hospitals are no different. IT supports the technological equivalent of instruments, sheet music, reeds and bows so that our clinicians can focus on their artistry."

The Digital Health Most Wired Survey serves as a comprehensive measure of digital maturity for healthcare organizations around the world. As technology continues to reshape healthcare, the recognition reflects work across the entire organization, not just information technology, and the role digital tools and infrastructure play in advancing health and care.
