WASHINGTON, DC -Today, U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02)released the below statement following President Trump's State of the Union Address:

"At a time when working people are struggling to make ends meet and need real solutions, President Trump instead chose to hurl petty insults, promote conspiracy theories, and double down on tariffs that are making life unaffordable.

No amount of theatrics from President Trump can distract people from the fact that costs are too high, the job market is stagnant, and only the wealthy are getting ahead. The state of the union could be much better."
