Willkie advised Saudi Reinsurance Company ("Saudi Re") on its strategic partnership with AdA Risk Holding Co Limited ("AdA").
Saudi Re recently announced its strategic investment in AdA, a differentiated specialty Lloyd's underwriting platform. The partnership builds on their existing relationship, strengthening Saudi Re's foothold in the Lloyd's market and supporting AdA's continued growth as a leading specialty syndicate.
Willkie previously advised Saudi Re on the sale of its 49.9% shareholding in Probitas, a leading Lloyd's of London platform, to Aviva.
Saudi Re is a Public Investment Fund portfolio company listed on the Saudi Exchange. It is one of the leading reinsurance providers in the MENA region.
The Willkie team was led by partners Melanie James, Tim Baumgartner and Magdi Adab with associates Ashley Jamali, Scott Wallace-Cotter, Rami Jerrow and Rhea Ingram-Smith.
