Chinese Ambassador to Malta Zhang Zuo Meets with Ms. Kerstin Spiteri, Director of Protocol of the Ministry for Foreign and Tourism of Malta

On October 7, 2025, H.E. Ambassador Zhang Zuo met with Ms. Kerstin Spiteri, Director of Protocol of the Ministry for Foreign and Tourism of Malta.

H.E. Ambassador Zhang expressed his appreciation to the Protocol Directorate for its support of the Chinese Embassy's work in Malta. He noted that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, China-Malta relations are embracing new development opportunities. The Chinese Embassy is ready to strengthen communication and cooperation with the Protocol Directorate to promote bilateral relations.

Ms. Spiteri welcomed Ambassador Zhang's assumption of office, emphasizing that Malta attaches great importance to its relations with China. The Protocol Directorate has maintained sound working contacts with the Chinese Embassy and hopes both sides will continue their close cooperation to contribute to the friendship between Malta and China.
