Single lane closures on East Broadway near College Avenue for pavement repairs, July 21-23
(COLUMBIA, MO) - Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, City of Columbia Public Works Street division crews will repair a deteriorated section of pavement on East Broadway near College Avenue.
Repairs will take place in the two westbound lanes. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times while crews repair the other. Crews plan to begin with the left westbound lane before shifting traffic and repairing the right westbound lane.
Motorists should follow temporary traffic signs, expect delays and consider using East Walnut Street as an alternate route. Please use caution and reduce speeds when traveling through the work zone.
If weather and construction progress allow, repairs are expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 22. If additional time is needed, work may continue through Thursday, July 23.
