Porter Airlines brings more sun to Ottawa with Miami service

Porter Airlines is bringing a warming trend to 2026 with new flights to Miami International Airport from Ottawa International Airport (YOW), creating the only nonstop service between MIA and YOW.
The new Miami route, which began on January 24 with three weekly flights, provides greater international and cross-border connectivity for onward travel by the Latin American and Caribbean hub for Porter's codeshare partner, American Airlines.

This winter, Porter is offering more flights from YOW than any other carrier, serving 26 non-stop routes. Miami is part of a larger expansion into sun markets from Ottawa this season, with destinations in Mexico, The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, and Costa Rica operating since December.
