Temporary road closure on 156th Avenue NE between State Highway 9 and Rock Creek Road October 30 and 31

The City of Norman advises motorists of an upcoming temporary road closure on 156th Avenue NE between State Highway 9 and Rock Creek Road to allow for an emergency pipe repair.
The closure will be in effect during working hours on Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31, and will be lifted outside of those times.
A detour route will be established directing through traffic to 168th Avenue NE during the closure period. This closure applies only to through traffic. Local residents and property owners will maintain access to their homes and properties.
City staff have notified the Absentee Shawnee Tribe Resource Center of the planned work.
