The Seventeenth Cambodia - Lao PDR - Myanmar - Viet Nam (CLMV) Economic Ministers' Meeting (EMM) was held on 7 November 2025 in Yangon, Myanmar. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Wah Wah Maung, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of Myanmar. The Meeting was also attended by H.E. Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Economic Community.

The Ministers noted the steady growth of CLMV's trade in 2024 with the total merchandise reaching USD 883.4 billion1, reflecting resilience in the face of persistent global trade tensions. It contributed around 23.0 percent to ASEAN's total merchandise trade in 2024, which increased slightly from 21.9 percent in 2023. Foreign Direct Investment flow into CLMV countries increased by 3.6 percent from 2023 to 2024. Cambodia experienced the highest year-on-year growth at 11.0 percent, while in terms of value, Viet Nam received the highest amount among the four countries at USD 20.2 billion.
