Navy Pier Voted Top Fireworks for Fourth Straight Year

CHICAGO- Navy Pier has successfully defended its title as "Best Place to See Fireworks" in 2026, for the fourth consecutive year. Nominees for all categories are chosen by a panel of subject matter experts which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY, editors from10Best.com, relevant contributors, and sources for both USA Today and other Gannett properties.

"We are thrilled that Navy Pier has once again been recognized as the best place in the nation to experience fireworks," said Marilynn Gardner, President and CEO of Navy Pier. "Navy Pier's fireworks are a cherished Chicago tradition, bringing together locals and visitors alike along our magnificent lakefront, creating memories while celebrating the beauty and spirit of Chicago. These spectacular displays are a cornerstone of Navy Pier's free, year-round public programming and reflect the energy of the Pier and the community of partners and supporters who help make these experiences possible."

Free Summer Fireworks at Navy Pier will return this upcoming Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Chicago's favorite sky spectacle will take place every Wednesday at 9 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 p.m. This year, Navy Pier will host its award-winning fireworks display on Saturday, July 4, celebrating America 250. Starting at 10 p.m., Independence Fireworks will showcase Chicago's largest ever public firework display set to a patriotic soundtrack.
