On 7 August 2015, General Nattaphon Narkphanit, Deputy Minister of Defence and Acting Minister of Defence, paid a courtesy call on Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, who is the current Chair of ASEAN and the host venue of the Extraordinary Session of the Thailand - Cambodia General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting. Also in attendance was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Cambodia. This was the first opportunity today for Thailand and Cambodia to meet at the ministerial level before attending the Extraordinary Session of the GBC Meeting later this afternoon.
