Siemens executives to lead AI panel at Secchia Breakfast Lecture

The Seidman College of Business will open the 2025-2026 Peter F. Secchia Breakfast Lecture Series with a panel discussion on the future of artificial intelligence in the workplace and across industries.

Executives with Siemens Software will lead the program, "AI at Scale: How Industry Leaders Are Embracing the Future of Work," on September 24 at the L. William Seidman Center on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus. The free event is open to the public. Guests are asked to RSVP by September 16.

As AI adoption accelerates worldwide, how should industries and organizations respond? Siemens experts will outline strategies for integrating AI across departments while addressing the risks, challenges and opportunities that come with rapid change.

The discussion will also highlight how firms and businesses can implement AI to empower employees and boost efficiency while balancing security and governance.

Featured panelists from Siemens Software include:

• Kevin Drooger, vice president of Process and Solutions Consulting. Drooger leads a global team supporting design, engineering, and manufacturing communities.
• Craig Muscott, director of Software Asset Management. Muscott's expertise involves digital transformation, smart manufacturing and improving organizations' performance.
• Dave Athey, manager of AI & Emerging Technologies. Athey leads a team of solutions consultants supporting industrial customers in adopting digital tools to improve operations.
• Stephen Crescenti, presales solutions consultant. Crescenti specializes in application lifecycle management and digital transformation with experience in systems engineering and consulting.

Following the discussion, attendees may choose between two workshops - one focused on how AI applications are transforming manufacturing performance, and the other on how AI is driving productivity across the workplace.
