Regional Situation: Influenza activity in the Americas remains stable, with a downward trend and a regional positivity rate of 11.5%. Influenza A(H3N2) continues to predominate in most subregions, except for North America, where influenza B predominates. RSV circulation continues to increase; however, it remains at low levels, with a regional positivity rate of 2.3%, driven mainly by increased activity in the Andean Subregion. Meanwhile, SARS- CoV-2 positivity remains stable and at low levels at 4.3%. At the regional level, the circulation of other respiratory viruses (ORV) has increased over the past four epidemiological weeks, reaching a regional positivity rate of 3%. Among these, rhinoviruses and coronaviruses continue to be the most frequently detected viruses. Hospitalizations for severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) and outpatient visits for influenza-like illness (ILI) remain low and are primarily associated with influenza circulation.
