This achievement reflects years of strong leadership, dedicated educators, and a community committed to supporting students. With principals, teachers, families, and graduates working together, the schools are building a legacy of success that extends far beyond academics.

Historic ties bring support for STEM
Clara Oliver Elementary School will welcome a special guest with a unique connection to the school's namesake at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 15. Annie Phelan, great-great granddaughter of Clara Oliver and human resources director at KOSMOS Energy, will visit the campus to present a $2,000 donation supporting STEM initiatives.
The South Dallas Classic returns
James Madison High School and Lincoln High School and Humanities/Communications Magnet are going head to head in their South Dallas Classic Unity Game, which kicks off at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at John Kincaide Stadium. Ahead of Saturday's game, team captains, coaches, and principals met for a press conference on Thursday.
