Interstate 20 resurfacing project awarded

Tennille, Ga. - The Georgia Department of Transportation recently awarded a contract to resurface Interstate 20 in Newton County from the Newton/Rockdale County line to Exit 92/Alcovy Road.

Pittman Construction Company has been awarded the contract, valued at $5.23 million. Completion is estimated for late December 2026.
