Annual Tallahassee Science Festival Coming to Downtown Tallahassee

Kleman Plaza in downtown Tallahassee will transform into a hub of scientific discovery on Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as Tallahassee State College presents the 13th annual Tallahassee Science Festival. This free annual event offers a fascinating view into the dynamic world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through live interactive learning activities, exciting demonstrations, and informative educational programs for science enthusiasts of all ages.

This year's event showcases a diverse range of participants from around the Big Bend area and beyond, including STEM departments from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Florida State University, Keiser University, Tallahassee Collegiate Academy, Tallahassee State College, and the University of Florida, along with organizations such as the Apalachee Beekeepers Association, Gulf Specimen Marine Lab, National Weather Service, Tally Robotics, and many more.

The Tallahassee Science Festival is delighted to have Trulight LLC as this year's Co-Presenting Sponsor. Following the event, the festival will recognize outstanding research and exhibits with the People's Choice Award. In partnership with the Challenger Learning Center, a free screening of Meet the Robinsons will be shown in the IMAX theatre at 2 p.m. Tickets can be claimed at the Challenger Learning Center during the festival while supplies last.
