TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces daytime lane closure on northbound I-95 for truck access (Mon. - Thu.). There will be an overnight multi-lane closure on northbound I-95 for bridge work (Sun.), and overnight rolling roadblocks on the northbound SR 896 on-ramp to northbound I-95 for bridge work (Sun.). There will also be a daytime lane closure on southbound SR 896 for sidewalk work (Sun.)

· Sunday, March 8th: Overnight Multi-lane Closure, Northbound I-95, from Rt 896 to the Welcome Center (10PM - 6AM)
· Monday, March 9th through Thursday, March 12th: Daytime Lane Closure, Northbound I-95, from the Rt 896 Interchange to the Welcome Center (9AM - 6PM)
Rt 896 IMPACTS
· Sunday, March 8th:Daytime Lane Closure, Southbound Rt 896, West Chestnut Hill Road to Welsh Tract Road (7AM - 5PM)
· Sunday, March 8th: Overnight Rolling Roadblocks, Northbound Rt 896 on ramp to Northbound I-95. (11PM-5AM)
