The Miami-Dade Aviation Department hosted its 4th Annual Miami-Opa locka Executive Airport (OPF) Runway 5K on April 12 with two new features: a 10K option and both races being held after sundown. More than 1,300 runners hit OPF's runway at 7:30 p.m., with all event proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) campaign.
The event was the second part of the MIA Runway 5K 2025 Series, following the Miami Executive Airport Runway 5K on March 8. The final 5K at Miami International Airport will be held on October 18.
