The Water District is located in western Travis County. The District includes the City of West Lake Hills and the major subdivisions of Westwood, Rolling Hills West, Knollwood, Westlake Highlands, Sundown Parkway, Camelot and the original Rob Roy Ranch.

Overall, the District covers an area of approximately 5,000 acres, and has about 3,000 residential and business accounts comprised of about 10,000 people. Water for the service area is provided wholesale by Austin Water (City of Austin) and retailed to customers through WCID 10.
