Mayor Kim Norton invites community members to lace up their walking shoes and join her and other City leaders for two community walks in November as part of the Move with the Mayor initiative.
WHEN:
WHERE:
Rochester Regional Sports Center at RCTC - 851 30th Ave. SE
Move with the Mayor encourages residents to get active, connect with one another, and support overall health and wellness. Walking is a simple way to improve both physical and mental health, and these community walks provide an opportunity for residents to engage directly with Mayor Norton in an informal, friendly setting.
"Walking together is a great way to connect while promoting healthy habits," said Mayor Norton. "I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones as we move through the fall season together."
Residents are invited to represent their City Ward by participating. Those unsure of which Ward they live in can find a map on the City website.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. The event is free and open to all ages.
