PRESS RELEASE BY THE OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER Parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Farrugia departs for official visit to France

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr Anġlu Farrugia, will be leading a Maltese parliamentary delegation on an official visit to France from 17 to 19 December.

The delegation is composed of the Minister for Health and Active Ageing, Dr Jo Etienne Abela, Members of Parliament Carmelo Abela and Rebbekah Borg, and Ambassador Joseph Cole

During the visit, the delegation will hold a series of high-level meetings with the President of the National Assembly of France, senior French government officials, and Members of Parliament sitting on the Malta-France Parliamentary Friendship Group.

The visit aims to further strengthen the longstanding relations between Malta and France, enhance parliamentary cooperation, and exchange views on matters of mutual interest at both bilateral and European levels.
