First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Lukashevich meets Ambassador of Brazil
01 July 2026On 1 July 2026, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Belarus, Júlio Cesar Fontes Laranjeira.
The parties paid particular attention to issues relating to the strengthening of humanitarian cooperation, in particular interaction in the field of higher education, the development of academic mobility programmes and inter-university exchange practices.
The sides emphasised the importance of deepening direct contacts between educational institutions of the two countries as a key element in strengthening mutual understanding and the scientific and educational potential of Belarus and Brazil.
The parties expressed their mutual interest in giving practical substance to existing agreements in the field of education.
