Stanislaus County

Closures on State Routes 99, 108, 132, And Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

  • Full closure of the Hatch Road offramp from southbound SR-99 in Ceres for bridge work beginning Monday, September 23, through Sunday, September 30, 2024, from 5:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 108

  • Closure of the #2 (right) lane of eastbound SR-108 (McHenry Avenue) between Sylvan Avenue and Claratina Avenue in Modesto for utility work beginning Tuesday, September 24 through Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • The signalized intersections at Western Avenue and F Street/Hickman Road in Waterford will be flashing red for utility work beginning Saturday, September 21, through Sunday, Friday, September 27, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
    Note: Construction is expected to continue through the fall of 2024.

Interstate 5

  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 between Fink Road and Hamilton Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 22, through Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Full, long-term closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 for construction work.
    Note: This project is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
