A person with measles flew from Boston to Miami on JetBlue flight 639, departing on June 8, 2025 at 9:12 PM. The Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health are working with the CDC to identify and notify individuals who may have been exposed to the virus on the flight and at locations visited in Boston.
According to Boston.gov, these locations include the Westin Boston Seaport Hotel, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and Logan Airport Terminal C. Reports indicate that the person was infectious while at these locations between June 7, 2025 and June 8, 2025 before boarding the flight.
