ANDERSON, S.C. | Georgia College & State University softball catcher Karlie Gutierrez has been named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Southeast region first team.
It's the second D2CCA all-region selection for Gutierrez as she was named a second-team pick in 2024. Gutierrez will now be considered for one of the three All-America teams later this month.
Gutierrez was named to the All-Peach Belt Conference first team this season. It was the third all-conference nod for Gutierrez as she was named to the second team in 2024 and 2025. Gutierrez also was named to the All-PBC Tournament team in 2026.
Gutierrez, a junior from Newnan, Georgia, led the Bobcats with a .403 batting average (50-of-124), 13 doubles, .565 slugging percentage and a .486 on-base percentage. She was second on the team in RBI (25) and stolen bases (13). The Peach Belt Player of the Week was third in runs scored (30), triples (2) and hit by pitches (8). She also added a home run and 13 walks. Gutierrez is fourth in the Peach Belt in batting average, fifth in hit by pitches and on-base percentage, and ninth in doubles.
