2025 Municipal Election Press Briefing on Election Day
Members of the press who wish to attend the press briefing with election officials in person must RSVP.

North Carolina elections officials will host an in-person and remote news conference at 11 a.m. on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 4) to provide information and answer questions about the 2025 municipal election in North Carolina.

- What? News conference/media availability. Credentialed media can participate remotely or attend in person.
- Who? Sam Hayes, executive director, N.C. State Board of Elections.
- When? 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4.
- Where? In-person at Emergency Operations Center, 1636 Gold Star Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607.
Important: If you are a credentialed member of the media and attending in person, you must send an email to [email protected] to be permitted on campus. Please RSVP as soon as possible. You must also show a valid state-issued ID, such as a driver's license, at the gate.
Dial-in Details: Credentialed media wishing to dial in can register by emailing Colin Loftin ([email protected]) with your name and news organization.
