Richard B. Levin, the Chair of Taft's FinTech Practice, will be speaking on a panel at the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law on April 8, 2026. The panel will focus on the evolution of finance, regulatory changes, and the legal considerations of advising clients in the crypto space.
The University of Denver Sturm College of Law opened in 1892 and has been a leader in legal education and innovation ever since. Levin was one of the first lawyers to focus on the regulation of blockchain and digital assets. He is considered a legal thought leader in FinTech and has represented electronic trading platforms since 1999. Levin represents early stage and publicly traded companies in the FinTech space, including investment banks, broker-dealers, investment advisers, peer- to-peer lending platforms, digital currency trading platforms, alternative trading systems (ATSs), exchanges, and custodians. His current and past clients include leading national financial institutions, multinational financial services holding companies, leading firms in the FinTech space, and institutions engaging in global investment banking, investment management, securities, and other financial services with institutional clients.
