TAMPA, FL. (September 28, 2026) - - Tampa Police is conducting a death investigation following a shooting that occurred on September 22, 2026.
Just after 4:00 p.m., officers responded to N Nebraska Ave and E McEwen Ave following reports of someone who had been shot. Upon their arrival, officers located an adult male in critical condition and began performing life-saving measures.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died on September 27, 2026, as a result of his sustained injuries.
Detectives are continuing to gather evidence in this case.
