Learn MoreApril 28, 2026 - FBT Gibbons has extended its long-term commitment to downtown Nashville, signing a lease amendment that will keep the firm at Symphony Place through October 2037 while launching a significant renovation of its office space. The lease extension follows the firm's combination earlier this year, which brought together Frost Brown Todd and Gibbons to form FBT Gibbons.
The extension includes a full 19th floor and a partial 18th floor, totaling 35,876 square feet. The firm originally relocated to the tower - then known as The Pinnacle at Symphony Place - in 2012, selecting the building to support the growth of its Nashville office and foster collaboration among its expanding team.
After more than a decade at Symphony Place, the firm is committing to the space for the long term with a lease extension and comprehensive renovation. As part of the lease extension, FBT Gibbons will undertake a full renovation of the 19th floor and a portion of the 18th floor, including the addition of an interconnecting internal staircase designed to increase natural light, enhance collaboration, and improve connectivity between floors.
To accommodate construction, FBT Gibbons will temporarily relocate within Symphony Place beginning in early April, with plans to reoccupy the renovated space in Q4 2026, targeting late October.
"From our vantage point at Symphony Place, it's been a pleasure to watch the transformation of the SoBro district unfold right outside our windows," said Brian Masterson, partner-in-charge of FBT Gibbons' Nashville office. "Over the years, we've had a front-row seat to Nashville's remarkable growth, and this extension reflects our decision to double down on the market with space that allows us to grow significantly from here. Looking ahead, we're especially excited to watch the development of the East Bank - a truly generational project that will redefine the Nashville skyline and one in which many of our clients are actively participating. This investment ensures we have the flexibility and capacity to continue expanding our Nashville presence for years to come."
Located in the heart of Nashville's SoBro district, Symphony Place is adjacent to the Cumberland River and overlooks the East Bank, where construction of the new Tennessee Titans stadium is underway.
FBT Gibbons' long-term extension adds to the roster of professional services firms choosing Symphony Place as a downtown home, reflecting sustained confidence in the building and Nashville's evolving office market.
