The Baldwin County Commission and the City of Robertsdale are partnering to improve safety and traffic flow at the Palmer Street and State Route 104 intersection.
The project includes new turn lanes, improved pedestrian access, access management features, and modernized traffic signals - all designed to enhance capacity, safety, and efficiency at one of Robertsdale's key intersections.
"We're thrilled to continue our partnership with the County Commission," said Mayor Ruthie Campbell. "This project will make daily travel safer and more convenient for our residents."
District 3 Commissioner Billie Jo Underwood added, "These improvements are an important investment in our community. They'll make this intersection much safer and greatly improve traffic flow for everyone who uses this route."
This collaboration marks the sixth municipal partnership through the Baldwin County Commission's 30 Cubed Program, which fosters cooperation with cities and towns across the county to expand roadway capacity and connectivity, strengthening local transportation networks.
