The University of Toledo recently was recognized by Phi Theta Kappa, the national transfer student honor society, to its "2025 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the dynamic pathways they have created to support transfer students."

The PTK Transfer Honor Roll recognizes institutions based on success rates, campus friendliness and sense of belonging, availability of need- and merit-based financial aid, acceptance of transfer credits toward a four-year degree program and recruitment experience and campus life for transfers.

"Out of the 900 competing four-year institutions in the country, we are honored to be one of 251 recognized for excellence in serving transfer students," said Dr. Hala Abou-Dahech, associate director of adult and transfer recruitment and enrollment. "Every student brings their own unique story, and our team is proud to serve as the bridge between their current institution and the opportunities that await them here. We look forward to welcoming each one to Rocket Nation."
