TechNet Welcomes Teddy Tanzer as Director of Federal Policy and Government Relations

Washington, D.C. - TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of tech CEOs and senior executives, today announced Teddy Tanzer as Director of Federal Policy and Government Rela tions. Based in Washington, D.C., Tanzer will drive TechNet's federal policy advocacy on key priorities, including tax, trade, energy, health and telehealth, financial technology, AI, and transportation.

Before joining TechNet, Tanzer served as a Senior Director of Invariant's technology and competition practice group, where he counseled leading technology companies on engaging with Congress and the administration on issues across technology, competition, and regulatory policy. Prior to joining Invariant, he was Senior Counsel on the Majority Staff of the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Innovation, Data, and Commerce Subcommittee, where he advised the Chairwoman on issues within the subcommittee's jurisdiction.

Earlier in Teddy's career, he was Senior Counsel to now Acting Chairman Peter A. Feldman at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, providing legal and policy analysis on Commission business. He also worked on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation for Chairmen Thune and Wicker, in addition to serving as a Legal Fellow in Senator Thune's office.

Teddy is licensed to practice law in New York and Washington, D.C. He received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Hobart College. Teddy was recognized as a 2024 Maverick PAC Future 40 honoree and is National Co-Chairman of Maverick PAC. He is active in the Hobart College Alumni Association, the Republican National Lawyers Association, and the Federalist Society.
