Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 6/23
(BROOME COUNTY, NY) - The following work is schedule on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, June 23rd.
- Ditch cleaning on Brady Hill Road, Murphy Road, Airport Road & Farm to Market Road
- Grader patching on Trim Street & Oquaga Lake Road
- Guide rail repairs on Pierce Creek Road, Oquaga Lake Road & Old Route 17
- Culvert work on Farm to Market Road, Nowlan Road, Hale Eddy Road & Bevier Street
- Crosswalk work on Hooper Road
- Mowing right of way on several county roads
- Painting county roadways & sign repairs on various county roads
Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progresses. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
