On behalf of the Board of Directors and everyone at Health PEI, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of those who lost their lives in today's tragic motor vehicle accident in New Brunswick.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of two Island EMS paramedics who dedicated their careers to caring for others. They played a vital role in our health care system, using their skills, compassion, and courage to help Islanders every single day. Their impact on patients, families, and communities will not be forgotten, and they will be greatly missed.
We also extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family and loved ones of the patient who lost their life in this tragedy. Every patient entrusted to our care is important to us, and we share in the sorrow of this loss.
We remain committed to supporting our staff, Island EMS teams, and all those impacted during this difficult time.
