Today, DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe released the following statement on Dan Cox's entrance into Maryland's gubernatorial race:
"Dan Cox is a MAGA extremist running to bring Donald Trump's disastrous, cost-raising agenda to Annapolis - and that's why he is completely unfit to be Maryland's governor. Cox would be the Trump of Annapolis: taking away health care, jacking up costs, killing Maryland jobs, trafficking in conspiracy theories, and endangering public safety. At a time when Donald Trump is attacking the state every day, Marylanders need a governor who will fight for them - not a Donald Trump clone."
