Dentons Shareholder Appointed to 6th Avenue Corridor Board of Directors

Dentons Davis Brown real estate and bankruptcy shareholder Kate Simon was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of 6^th Avenue Corridor (6AC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing and strengthening Des Moines' 6th Avenue corridor.

6AC is part of the Main Street America network and dedicated to revitalizing one of Central Iowa's most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods. Through strategic partnerships and community-driven initiatives, 6AC works to transform the 6^th Avenue district by supporting local businesses, and creating housing and commercial opportunities to stimulate economic growth, reduce blight, and celebrate the district's rich cultural diversity.

"The 6^th Avenue corridor is an important part of Des Moines' history and future," said Simon. "I am honored to join the board and support 6AC's efforts to create opportunities for residents, strengthen local businesses, and foster sustainable growth throughout the community."
