Congressman Flood Votes to Fully Fund Border Patrol and Immigration Enforcement

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood released a statement after the U.S. House of Representatives passed the "Secure America Act," which ends the Democrats' blockade of funding for Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

"After months of Democrats trying to defund law enforcement and return to the Biden administration's open-border policies, I voted to fund Border Patrol and immigration enforcement," said Congressman Flood. "Nebraskans are safer when our southern border is secure and criminals who are here illegally are removed from our streets. This legislation fully funds the Border Patrol and immigration enforcement through the remainder of President Trump's term, eliminating any uncertainty about the paychecks of the men and women who help keep our communities safe."
