NB Dallas Parkway & SB Dallas North Tollway closed at Stonebrook Pkwy. April 26-28

(April 25, 2025)The Northbound Dallas Pkwy. frontage road will be closed over the weekend between Stonebrook Pkwy. and Cotton Gin Rd. beginning 5 a.m., Saturday, April 26 and will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, April 28. The exit ramp from the northbound Dallas North Tollway (DNT) to Cotton Gin Rd. and Main St. will also be closed. The details of the closures and detours are described below. See attached map (PDF).

Detours and Closures:

  • Drivers on DNT heading to the Downtown Frisco area should exit earlier at Stonebrook Pkwy. and follow the posted detour.
  • Northbound Dallas Pkwy Frontage Road: Closed to all but local traffic at Stonebrook Pkwy. Only drivers heading to Genesis Court may continue north. All other traffic must turn left onto Stonebrook Pkwy. and use Legacy Dr. and Cotton Gin Rd. to navigate around the closure. Detour signs will be posted.
  • Genesis Court Access Closure: The northbound frontage road will close completely at Genesis Court, a cul-de-sac with no outlet. Any drivers who mistakenly enter this area must turn around and return to Stonebrook Pkwy.
  • Temporary Two-Way Traffic: The section of the northbound frontage road between the railroad tracks and Genesis Court will temporarily allow two-way traffic. Vehicles exiting Genesis Court will use this route to access the southbound frontage road via the railroad cross-over.

All lanes of the southbound Dallas North Tollway will close at 9 p.m. Sunday, April 27, and reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, April 28. During the closure, all southbound DNT traffic must exit at Cotton Gin Rd. and continue south on the Dallas Pkwy. frontage road. Drivers can re-enter the tollway using the entrance ramp south of Stonebrook Pkwy.
