REMINDER: OPEN ENROLLMENT ENDS NOVEMBER 16, 2026

LACERS will accept applications for health plan changes, adding eligible dependents, and new enrollments from October 15 to November 16, 2026. Changes made during this period will become effective on January 1, 2027. If you wish to keep your current LACERS health coverage for 2027, you do not need to take any action. LACERS recommends reviewing the Open Enrollment material to stay informed of your benefit options and costs.

Open Enrollment packets were mailed in early October. If you have not received your packet and would like Open Enrollment materials mailed to you, email [email protected] or call (800) 779-8328. Information is also available online at lacers.org/enrollment.

HEALTH PLAN PREMIUM INCREASES FOR 2027

The rising use of medical services, combined with escalating labor costs, has led to higher health plan premiums for 2027. Although rates will increase, the current plan offerings will remain unchanged for the upcoming year. LACERS remains committed to collaborating with its health plan partners to effectively manage costs while ensuring Members continue to receive high-quality, reliable benefit options.

Below are the monthly one-party premium rates for 2027:

  • Anthem HMO - $1,654.26
  • Anthem PPO - $1,982.71
  • Anthem Medicare Preferred (PPO) Plan - $455.13
  • Anthem Life & Health Medicare Plan (Medicare Supplement) - $914.41
  • Kaiser HMO - $1,276.94
  • Kaiser Senior Advantage - $272.04
  • SCAN - $226.93
  • UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage HMO:
    • California - $439.11
    • Nevada - $349.40
    • Arizona - $439.08
• Dental
  • Delta Dental PPO - $53.77
  • DeltaCare USA DHMO - $15.10
