Prior to the meeting, there was a workshop in which Grants' donor programme/project partners and financial mechanism officials received information on legislation and policies relating to human rights mainstreaming in programmes and projects.
They discussed the application of human rights methodologies and tools. They heard from field experts who have applied these methodologies and tools in several countries. EU funding was also discussed.
