Senator Marshall Hosts Kansas Booth During the Freedom 250 Great American State Fair

Washington - Today, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), welcomed Kansans and visitors from across the country to the Kansas booth at the Freedom 250 Great American State Fair, a first-of-its-kind exposition on the National Mall celebrating America's 250th birthday. The 16-day event brings together all 50 states to showcase the people, traditions, and industries that define America.

Senator Marshall was honored to host the Kansas booth, showcasing the people, products, and history that make Kansas an important part of our nation's story. The exhibit features Kansas agricultural commodities, recognizes notable Kansans, including President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Amelia Earhart, and highlights iconic symbols of the state like The Wizard of Oz. The booth offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about Kansas' contributions to America's history, economy, and culture.

"Laina and I were honored to help kick off the Freedom 250 Great American State Fair and celebrate our great nation alongside Americans from across the country. It was a pleasure to walk the grounds, visit with families, and experience the patriotism and pride that make this event so special," said Senator Marshall. "I'm especially proud to showcase Kansas and the people, products, and history that have helped shape our nation. As we prepare to celebrate America's 250th birthday, it's a great reminder of the values that unite us all."
