Due to road closures and traffic concerns around the courthouse during the SXSW festival in downtown Austin, the Austin division of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas is closed to in-person visitors on March 12-13, 2026. Clerk's office staff will work remotely.
All Bankruptcy Court hearings and other matters scheduled in the Austin division will proceed as noticed.
All other Texas Western Bankruptcy Court divisions are open for regular business. Please call 210-472-6720 for assistance.
The PACER/ECF system is available, and electronic documents may be filed or accessed during this time. The Court's website is also available. https://www.txwb.uscourts.gov
