Fairfield launches Business Retention & Expansion Program at TricorBraun

The City of Fairfield's Community & Economic Development Department will launch its new Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program on Wednesday, November 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. at TricorBraun Packaging's new facility, 5195 Fermi Drive.

The event will bring together elected officials, business leaders, and regional partners to announce a new collaboration aimed at strengthening Fairfield's business community and workforce.

The program is a joint effort between the city and its local partners, including Solano Economic Development Corporation, Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center, Workforce Development Board of Solano County, and both the Fairfield-Suisun and Solano Hispanic Chambers of Commerce.

Through the BRE Program, partners will connect directly with Fairfield businesses through on-site and virtual visits to learn about their operations and needs, and then provide customized support such as workforce resources, training, funding, and business growth tools.

"This program reflects our cmitment to supporting Fairfield's valued employers," said David Zellers, Director of Community & Economic Development. "We look forward to strengthening our local business ecosystem through collaboration with our partners and the business community."

"We are thrilled to host this launch event at our new Fairfield location," said Owen Larsen, Director at TricorBraun WinePak. "When we were looking to expand, the City provided critical assistance and proved to be one of the most business friendly cities I've worked with in North America."
